CO2 HERO LLC (“CO2 Hero,” “we,” “us”) delivers CO2 tanks to businesses in New York City, New York. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (co2hero.net), our online request form, phone calls, text messages, contact form and email, and how we use and protect it. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us when you request a delivery, contact us, or pay an invoice:

• Contact details: your name, company name, phone number and email address.
• Delivery details: your delivery address and any notes about building access.
• Order and billing details: the services you request, invoices and payment history.
• Payment information: card or bank details are entered directly into our payment processor (Jobber Payments, powered by Stripe). We do not see or store your full card number.
• Communications: the content of calls, texts and emails you exchange with us.

When you visit our website, our service providers may automatically receive basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited (see Section 5).

2. How we use your information

We use your information only to run our delivery service:

• Name and company name to communicate with you and prepare invoices.
• Delivery address to schedule and complete deliveries and pickups.
• Phone number to call or text you about your requests, deliveries, reminders and billing.
• Email address to reply to your questions and send invoices or receipts.
• Order and payment records to process payments, handle tank deposits and rentals, and keep the business and tax records the law requires.
• Marketing messages (optional) by email or text, only if you opt in (see Section 3).

We do not sell your information.

3. Text messages (SMS) and marketing

When you give us your phone number on our request form, you agree to receive transactional text messages from CO2 HERO LLC, such as visit reminders, delivery updates and billing notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

Marketing messages are optional. Our request form includes separate checkboxes to receive marketing emails and marketing text messages from CO2 HERO LLC, such as offers and service updates. You do not need to agree to marketing messages to request a delivery, and agreeing is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP MKT, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about your requests, deliveries and billing.

We share your number only with the service providers that send our messages for us. We do not sell or share your phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do so:

5. Cookies and website technology

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Our website host and our Jobber request form may use essential cookies and similar technology needed for the site and form to work and stay secure.

Our request form and website contact form are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sends it to Google. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Our website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When you open a page, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type. Google Fonts does not set cookies. Google’s Privacy Policy applies.

Do Not Track: because we do not track visitors across websites, our site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. Access to customer records is limited to our business email and Jobber accounts, which are protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. Payments are processed by Stripe through Jobber, and we do not store full card numbers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by New York law.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep customer records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 8). We may keep records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices and tax records.

8. Your choices and rights

You can email info@co2hero.net to:

• request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update your information; or
• ask us to delete your information, subject to the legal exceptions above.

We will respond within 30 days. You can opt out of all text messages at any time by replying STOP, or of marketing texts only by replying STOP MKT. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. California residents

This policy is intended to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). California residents can review or update their information, or request deletion, by contacting us as described in Section 8.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes take effect when posted.
